In Canada, Dr. Wehbi helped perform the first laparoendoscopic single site (scarless) urologic surgeries for children.

Dr. Elias Wehbi
Dr. Wehbi’s interests include urologic malignancies and genitourinary tumors, renal transplantation, complex reconstruction surgery, and minimally invasive treatment methods. While he was in Canada, Dr. Wehbi helped perform the first laparoendoscopic single site urologic surgeries for children. He has gone on to publish several publications in peer-reviewed journals and has given presentations and both national and international meetings.
Dr. Wehbi has an interest in international health as well, and has completed more than a dozen medical missions to Central America. This service has been recognized with patient care and humanitarian awards. Additionally, Dr. Wehbi speaks Arabic, French, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Dr. Wehbi received his Royal College certification and medical doctorate at the University of Toronto in Toronto, Canada. His fellowship training in pediatric urology took place at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, and he completed his residency training in urology at the University Health Network in Canada. He is continuing his education by actively pursuing a Master’s degree in Biomedical and Translational Science at the University of California, Irvine.
Dr. Wehbi is an Amgen Canada Fellows Alliance 2012 AUA Winner and previously received the Patrick Hardy Award Department of Surgery Award for Excellence in Patient Care.
